AMWT Diabetes Care Hospital, located in Havelian, is a flagship healthcare project of the Al Munir Welfare Trust. We were established to confront the growing burden of diabetes in our community — and the serious complications it brings to the heart, kidneys and nervous system — with dedicated, specialist care that families can actually afford.
Our hospital development brings together plans for diabetology, cardiology, urology, nephrology and women’s health, supported by diagnostics and a patient-first philosophy.

Serving Humanity with Integrity
Al Munir Welfare Trust (AMWT) was established in 2005 with the vision of serving humanity, supporting vulnerable families, and contributing to the welfare and well-being of deserving members of society.
AMWT provided educational opportunities and comprehensive support to orphan girls, including care and assistance until they reached adulthood. Their families were also supported, where needed, to help them achieve greater stability and dignity in life.
AMWT collaborated with the Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust (LRBT) to facilitate eye-care and treatment services for deserving patients.
After a period of limited activity due to organizational and management challenges, AMWT is now entering a new phase with a renewed commitment to organized, transparent, and sustainable welfare services. As part of this renewed mission, AMWT is developing the AMWT Diabetes Care Hospital, Havelian, with the aim of providing accessible, quality diabetes care and related healthcare services to deserving communities. Our journey continues — from supporting education and families to expanding access to healthcare.
